Hello, I am Chere Estrin, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Organization of Legal Professionals and CEO of the Paralegal Knowledge Institute.
Chere Estrin is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Organization of Legal Professionals (OLP) and CEO of the Paralegal Knowledge Institute, a training organization for paralegals. She is the Editor-in-Chief and founder of two magazine, OLP eJournal and KNOW, The Magazine for Paralegals; author of 10 books in the legal field including The Paralegal Career Guide Fourth Edition; The Successful Paralegal Job Search Guide (West); and others. Ms. Estrin is past Editor-in-Chief and founder of the popular magazine, SUE for Women Litigators. Chere Estrin is a co-founding member of the International Paralegal Management Association (IPMA); a life-time achievement award winner of the Los Angeles Paralegal Association; recipient of the Los Angeles/Century City Chamber of Commerce “Women of Achievement Award”; a LAMMIE award winner from California Lawyer Magazine; and author of the popular blog, The Estrin Report that was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal.com. Chere Estrin started as a paralegal administrator for two major law firms. She then opened a temporary and full-time paralegal staffing company with three offices. She sold that company to a $5 billion company (Interim) and oversaw 12 contract attorney and paralegal staffing offices as a top executive in the company reporting directly to the CEO of the parent company. She then became President of a litigation support company’s staffing division (Quorum/Estrin Group) and was responsible for 8 offices across the U.S. That company was later sold to Kroll Ontrack.Chere Estrin is a co-founding member of the Organization of Legal Professionals (OLP) with over 900 members in 9 countries and past CEO of the National Association of Freelance Legal Professionals (NAFLP). She is a national seminar leader and producer of the well-known Paralegal SuperConferences throughout the country.Chere Estrin has been interviewed by Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, the Chicago Tribune, Working Woman, Maxxim, The Tennessean, The Daily Journal and other prestigious publications. She has been interviewed about the paralegal field for the popular blog, Above the Law. She has written hundreds of articles.
